Amentities

Dishwasher

Please use the dishwasher to wash all cooking ware. To use the dishwasher add a tablet (these can be found under the sink), press XXXXX and then start. All food scraps must be discarded prior to putting dishes in the dishwasher. Please ensure there are no dirty dishes upon departure - the dishwasher can be left running with the last load when you leave.

Airconditioning

The aircon control panel is in the dining area near the hallway. Please open the patio sliding door first (with screen shut) as there must be an open door or window to allow circulation. The control panel is fixed to the wall, please do not try to remove it. Press the on button then select fan speed - a low speed will work fine. The system will take a minute or so to turn on and will flash while doing so.

TV

We have Foxtel in the lounge room and free to air in the kitchen and patio. The TV's can all be connected to streaming sites. Please log out when you leave.

Once the TV in the lounge is switched on with the TV remote you can then use the Foxtel remote to operate.

Washing Machine

The washing machine is available for guest use. Please note that washing delicates and whites is not recommended as the machine uses mains water that may stain items. If you have had an incident with your linens please try to wash them and use stain removal as required.

Heating

There are 3 wall heaters in the house - dining, entrance and lounge. These heat the room gradually and are best kept at a moderately low temperature while other rooms are kept shut to contain the heat. They are set to a comfortable temperature and do not need to be changed. Ensure windows and outside doors are kept closed when the heating is on or they will not work. The beds have electric blankets during the cooler months.

Coffee Machine

We have a coffee pod machine stocked with local Arrosto Coffee pods. Please do not overfill the milk frother and ensure it is cleaned after each use as the milk will burn onto the frother.

Firepit

The firepit must be used with adult supervision if there are children around. Please do not move the firepit. We have bags of wood available for $20/bag. We will have a few bags ready at the house for you but if you need more please let us know! There is strictly NO use of vegetation from on or around the property for the fire.

Internet

Enjoy the unlimited Starlink internet during your stay. The wifi password can be found above.

We have a fruit orchard with seasonal fruit available for guests. It is organic and no sprays are used. Our orchard includes: mandarins, oranges, apples, pears, figs, mulberries, avocados, apricots, olives, peaches, nectarines, blood orange, quinces and grapes.

Please check current Fruit Fly regulations before removing fruit from the property. Enjoy the fruit, but please do not waste or contaminate the property.

River Access

River access is via the grassed walkway near the laundry door, down past the shed. Follow the grass to the left down the black archways. Please bring beach towels if you plan on swimming. You can launch your boat from the public access ramp next door to the Woolshed Brewery. Mooring of boats and vehicles on the sandbar is allowed but please do so at your own risk. There are no fires allowed on the sandbar. Dispose of dead fish and rubbish appropriately. Always supervise children by the water and ensure life jackets are worn. Remember sun protection!

Lawns

A lot of time and care goes into keeping our lawns maintained. Please do not drive on any lawn areas.

Nothing must be left on the lawns. Please do not set up slip'n'slides or use splash pools on the lawn.

Rubbish

There is a food scrap bin under the sink (left hand side). General rubbish can go in the wheelie bin outside when the inside kitchen bin is full. If you happen to fill the wheelie bin there is a green skip down past the shed. Excess rubbish will incur additional fees. Please ensure bottles/cans are separated from rubbish and all boxes are flattened.

We understand accidents happen. If there are any breakages or problems during your stay please let us know as soon as possible so we can arrange repairs or replacements prior to the next booking.

There is strictly no smoking/vaping inside. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the provided bin. Additional charges will apply if butts are found in the garden or thrown off the front of the patio.

Tommy

Please note that Phil (owner) has his houseboat on the next sandbar. You may see Phil around the bottom gardens (not up at the house) doing maintenance with his dog Tommy.
